Thanks to Pirates of Paradise for this incredibly great week and a vacation that I would consider to be one of the most beautiful I have had the pleasure of experiencing so far. From days where you simply spend the whole day in the sea and on deck in the sun, to unforgettable nights on board or on land with a crew that grows from a bunch of strangers to a small family within 7 days, it was all there ! I already miss the morning swim in the turquoise blue water, the breakfast and dinner together on board, the overnight stays in the most beautiful bays under the most amazing starry sky I have ever seen and all the conversations late into the night with a good glass of wine. With Pirates of Paradise you don't just book any summer vacation, you book memories that last :)

I can‘t put it in words how grateful I am for this experience! But I‘ll give it a try:

The crew and everyone, who were with me on this boat, are so lovely, warm-hearted and kind people, which made me feel very seen and understood since the first second. I learned a lot in this week about myself, about sailing, about loving and appreciating nature and especially about delicious vegan food and its advantages - never eat vegan before and I was so excited to try it out!

Big shoutout to every single person, who made the trip unforgettable. We swam every day in the ocean, enjoyed every meal as a community and even connected the two boats together, when it was possible, so we were a bunch of people who jammed with the guitar or just chatting and stargazed.

I had a wonderful time with Pirates of Paradise in Sicily. The crew was such a great match, was very friendly and everyone took great care of us. It was a good mix of activities on land and relaxing time on the boat. Everything was organized in such a way that it was easy to just enjoy and go with the flow. The boat is very comfortable furnished, so you immediately feel at home and can quickly settle into the group and get to know new people. Sicily is definitely worth a visit. What an adventure! I was on board on the Croatia trip and I have to say it was just a great experience. 1 week on the sailboat felt like never ending & so decelerating. It was just a great combination of the right people, a lot of fun, a little storm, a little learning to sail. The two years (2014 & 2015) that I went on a sailing vacation with Pirates of Paradise were the most exciting, fun and literally paradisiacal vacations I have had so far. The freedom and adventure you feel when cruising the Mediterranean was indescribable. You have to experience it yourself! I would go on vacation with Pirates of Paradise again in a heartbeat, only time constraints prevented me from doing so the last few times.

So happy to have done the Sicilian route.  It was a dream trip.
I loved learning the basics of sailing.Everything was stunning and the food was amazing!
The best part of it all was the people. The crew (Yenzi, Julian, Marius, Alberto and Boggy) were absolutely amazing. So welcoming and always making sure that everyone was having a nice time.
Everyday felt like a new adventure filled with connection, beautiful spots and laughs.It definitely has been one of my favourite vacations. I am looking forward to joining another one of their trips.

I had a very nice and relaxing week with the Pirates. Yenzi does a great job as skipper and, despite the sailing and organizational stress, always has an open ear and time for conversation. Along with Yenzi, other Pirates crew members were on board who made sure that cooking, washing up, and cleaning up went smoothly. I've never experienced anything like that before. Simply outstanding! The pre-planned meals were always delicious and imaginative and even catered to me, a non-vegan. The boat has several upgrades and offers so many amenities that charter boats can't offer! Because the crew lives on the boat permanently, it's much more homely and lovingly furnished. I find little mementos of past trips everywhere in the boat, which quickly makes you feel at home. Overall, Pirates of Paradise simply puts more attention to detail, and in this respect, Yenzi and his crew are way ahead of larger providers. Definitely a reason for me to come back.

It was an exciting trip. We sailed, chilled within a storm without any inconvenience. Also if wanted we could join in more adventures hiking trips. In the night we could sleep on the deck right under the stars. The route was very beautiful and was easily adapted if the weather changed. We also had special showers initiated by the Skipper. He showed us how to reduce our water usage. Thus we also learned to appreciate water and in general the hole trip was very eco friendly. Also the Skipper is a very nice and comforting person.
I loved it, the food was great and I would recommend it to anyone.
