Running Special

Get ready to hit the ground with our Running Trip on Corfu! For the first time, we’re testing out this active Trip, where we’ll combine daily running sessions with the island’s breathtaking scenery. We’re aiming to finish a half marathon (21 km) over the course of the week, but we’re open to adjusting the distance based on the group’s energy and motivation.

Tanja, our experienced running coach, will be guiding the sessions with warm-ups, training drills, and plenty of motivation. Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned runner, there’ll be something for everyone. We might even throw in some extra runs if the group’s game!

If this first pilot Trip turns out well, we’d love to make it a regular part of our future Trips!

Tanja is an experienced trail runner, working with The North Face and regularly competing in trail running events. She trains daily, focusing on mountain running and proper nutrition for sports. Tanja will guide us through each session, ensuring we warm up properly and have effective training sessions, so everyone has a successful and enjoyable Trip.

I had a wonderful time with Pirates of Paradise in Sicily. The crew was such a great match, was very friendly and everyone took great care of us. It was a good mix of activities on land and relaxing time on the boat. Everything was organized in such a way that it was easy to just enjoy and go with the flow. The boat is very comfortable furnished, so you immediately feel at home and can quickly settle into the group and get to know new people. Sicily is definitely worth a visit. A special thanks to the crew, who were incredibly helpful, professional, and genuinely friendly throughout the trip. They created a relaxed atmosphere and were always willing to assist, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The only aspects that could be improved were the limited electricity on board, which was due to not docking in marinas the whole week, and the food supplies. Most of the products (around 90%) came from Lidl rather than local producers. Since sailing is such a great way to experience the local culture, it would have been much nicer to have more fresh, locally sourced products on board, and support the local producers than the international companies.
