I loved my week sailing with the pirates.

This was my first sailing week and I was particularly attracted by the vibe that they are trying to create. This is not a big corporate company. They own their own two boats and you really feel at home.

That can come with a little chaos. But if you are prepared to just go with the flow and understand life at sea doesn't always go to plan, you'll find a wonderful safe space to disconnect.

I spent a week with Pirates of Paradise on a trip from Montenegro to Albania. I'd sailed a few times before with friends and family, so I knew roughly what to expect. I had a very nice and relaxing week with the Pirates. Yenzi does a great job as skipper and, despite the sailing and organizational stress, always has an open ear and time for conversation. Along with Yenzi, other Pirates crew members were on board who made sure that cooking, washing up, and cleaning up went smoothly. I've never experienced anything like that before. Simply outstanding! The pre-planned meals were always delicious and imaginative and even catered to me, a non-vegan. The boat has several upgrades and offers so many amenities that charter boats can't offer! Because the crew lives on the boat permanently, it's much more homely and lovingly furnished. I find little mementos of past trips everywhere in the boat, which quickly makes you feel at home. Overall, Pirates of Paradise simply puts more attention to detail, and in this respect, Yenzi and his crew are way ahead of larger providers. Definitely a reason for me to come back.

Definitely one of the best weeks of my life with the Pirates in Sicily! The crew and other travelers made it feel like being among friends rather than a tour group, which made the trip really special. I loved the slow mornings and flexible schedule with a great balance between sailing time, group activities, and free time on land to recharge. You can also get as involved with sailing as you want and learn a thing or two about how the boat works. And the food on board is amazing too! I had a wonderful time with Pirates of Paradise in Sicily. The crew was such a great match, was very friendly and everyone took great care of us. It was a good mix of activities on land and relaxing time on the boat. Everything was organized in such a way that it was easy to just enjoy and go with the flow. The boat is very comfortable furnished, so you immediately feel at home and can quickly settle into the group and get to know new people. Sicily is definitely worth a visit. I had an absolutely incredible week with Pirates of Paradise and would recommend it 10/10 to anyone looking for a unique sailing adventure.

The trip had the perfect balance between relaxation and activity. Life on the boat was super chill, but at the same time we were able to get involved in sailing and learn more about life at sea. We visited beautiful national parks and nature parks, explored stunning coastlines, and spent nights anchored in secluded bays where we often had the entire place to ourselves.

I'm usually neither vegan nor vegetarian, but honestly, I never missed anything. The food was fantastic, varied, and delicious throughout the whole trip.

What really made the experience special was the crew. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, fun, and easy to spend time with. The same goes for the other guests on board. By the end of the week, it felt much more like sailing with friends than being on a tour.

I’d do this trip again in a heartbeat. A huge thank you to the entire crew and everyone who shared this unforgettable week.
